Code execution via out-of-bounds write
Published Feb 11, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Out-of-bounds write in Adobe Photoshop 21.2.4 and earlier and 22.1.1 and earlier allows attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the bounds-checking error that permits the write beyond its intended buffer. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted file, and resulting code runs with the current user's privileges on Windows or macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
