Stored JavaScript execution via customer address uploads
Published Feb 11, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Commerce 2.4.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript through customer address uploads. Adobe identifies the customer address upload feature but has not disclosed which field or code path stores and renders the payload without effective neutralization. The upload is pre-authentication, but exploitation requires a victim to interact with stored content; execution is confined to the victim's browser.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
