XML injection in Adobe Commerce 2.4.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code through product layout updates. Adobe identifies the product-layout-update XML path but has not disclosed the parser, function, or validation error that accepts the injected markup. Administrative console access is required, limiting exploitation to users with administrator privileges and exposing the server to compromise.
