Script execution via crafted management link
Published May 13, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Reflected XSS in WAGO industrial managed switch firmware allows remote attackers to execute script in a user browser via a crafted link. CERT@VDE identifies Web-Based Management as the affected component but does not publish the vulnerable parameter, handler, or exact reflection operation. Exploitation requires a legitimate user to follow the link while able to reach the management interface, enabling script execution in that browser context.
