CVE-2021-20992Public exploit

Credential interception via cleartext management traffic

Published Apr 19, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Cleartext transmission in Fibaro Home Center 2 and Lite allows man-in-the-middle attackers to intercept management credentials over HTTP. The web management interface serves local-network sessions only over unencrypted HTTP, exposing passwords, session identifiers, and tokens in transit. An attacker must gain an interception position on the local network; the reported consequence is credential and session theft rather than direct device modification.
