CVE-2021-20862

Unauthorized settings changes via exposed anti-CSRF tokens

Published Dec 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Improper access control in affected firmware for ELECOM LAN Routers allows network-adjacent remote attackers to obtain tokens and change settings. The firmware fails to enforce an access restriction before disclosing anti-CSRF tokens; the request path and code-level cause are undisclosed. No authentication is required, but the attacker must reach the router from the LAN; possession of the tokens permits unauthorized configuration changes.
