Unauthenticated OS command execution via XMLRPC API
Published Nov 24, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
OS command injection in PowerCMS 5.19 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands through the XMLRPC API. Neither Alfasado nor JVN discloses which XMLRPC method or parameter reaches command execution. Exploitation requires network access to the enabled XMLRPC application and grants command execution with the web application process's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
