Unauthorized profile modification via improper input validation
Published Aug 18, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Improper input validation in Cybozu Garoon 4.0.0 through 5.0.2 allows remote authenticated users to alter User Profile data. The vendor and JVN identify the User Profile component but do not disclose which request field is insufficiently validated or how authorization is bypassed. Any user who can log in can modify profile data beyond that account's assigned privileges; the published impact is limited to data integrity.
