CVE-2021-20752Network attack vector

Browser script execution via malicious RSS feed

Published Jul 1, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Cross-site scripting in IkaIka RSS Reader all versions allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary scripts through a malicious RSS feed. The RSS registration path improperly processes untrusted feed content, allowing embedded script to reach the product's browser context. Exploitation requires a user to load an attacker-controlled RSS feed; successful execution can read or alter data available to that browser origin.
