Administrator-browser script execution via unsanitized order identifier
Published Jun 22, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Cross-site scripting in Welcart e-Commerce before 2.2.4 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary script in an administrator's browser. The administrative order-editing page outputs the order_id query parameter without validation or contextual escaping. Exploitation requires a signed-in administrator to visit a crafted URL, and script execution remains confined to that browser context.
