Buffer overflow in NEC Corporation EXPRESSCLUSTER X 4.3 and earlier for Windows allows remote attackers to execute code over the network. The Disk Agent copies network-supplied data into a fixed-size buffer without checking the input length, causing memory corruption. The vulnerable service is network reachable and requires no authenticated session or user interaction; successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability, while NEC states that a patch is available.
