Stored script execution through administrator-page input
Published Mar 10, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Stored cross-site scripting in the GROWI 4.2.0 through 4.2.7 Admin Page allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary script. The public advisories identify the Admin Page as the storage locus but do not disclose which field accepts the script or how output encoding fails. An attacker needs administrator-level access to store the payload, and execution occurs only when a logged-in user views the affected content in a browser.
