Privilege escalation in Oracle PeopleSoft PeopleTools 8.56 through 8.58 allows local users to take over the application. The Portal component contains an undisclosed flaw; Oracle has not published the affected code path or the operation performed on attacker input. Exploitation requires a logon to the hosting infrastructure but no PeopleSoft credentials or user interaction, and grants control over application data and service operation.
