Code injection in Panasonic Video Insight VMS before 7.8 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code as the SYSTEM user. The IP Server accepts a specially crafted request over unencrypted communication on non-well-known ports and executes attacker-supplied code. No authentication or user interaction is required, and successful exploitation grants control at the service's SYSTEM privilege level.
