Unauthorized actions via cross-site request forgery
Published Jun 29, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site request forgery in IBM Planning Analytics Workspace 2.0 allows remote attackers to perform unauthorized actions through a user's session. IBM has not disclosed the affected endpoint or the exact request-validation failure that lets forged requests be accepted as trusted. Exploitation requires an authenticated user to interact with attacker-controlled content; the resulting actions are limited by that user's privileges.
