Service crash via unchecked heap buffer write

Heap-based buffer overflow in IBM Security Identity Manager Adapters 6.0 and 7.0 allows remote authenticated users to crash the service. The Windows AD Password Synchronization Plug-in applies improper bounds checking to authenticated request data, permitting that data to overrun a heap buffer. Exploitation requires authenticated network access and interrupts password synchronization without reported data disclosure or modification.
