CVE-2021-20560Network attack vector

Click hijacking via missing frame restriction header

Published Jul 26, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Clickjacking in IBM Sterling Connect:Direct Browser User Interface 1.4.1.1 and 1.5.0.2 allows remote attackers to hijack user clicks. The web interface omits the X-Frame-Options HTTP response header, allowing an attacker-controlled site to frame the interface beneath deceptive content. Exploitation requires low privileges and a victim who visits the malicious site and interacts with the overlaid interface; resulting actions can affect data confidentiality and integrity but not service availability.
