Credential disclosure via user-embedded Web UI JavaScript
Published Apr 27, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM Content Navigator 3.0CD allows remote authenticated users to expose credentials through the Web UI. IBM states that the Web UI accepts user-supplied JavaScript, but it does not identify the affected request, field, or rendering path. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and interaction by another user in a trusted session; resulting script execution can alter displayed content and disclose credentials.
