Credential disclosure via stored Web UI XSS
Published Jul 15, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM Security Verify Access Docker 10.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter Web UI behavior and disclose credentials. The Web UI stores or renders user-supplied JavaScript without adequate neutralization, so a trusted-session victim executes the script. Exploitation requires a high-privilege authenticated user to submit the payload and another user to view the affected page; reported impact is limited to session credential disclosure and interface integrity.
