CVE-2021-20507Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via stored Web UI script

Published Jul 19, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024

Stored cross-site scripting in IBM Jazz Foundation in affected Engineering products allows remote authenticated users to disclose credentials. The Web UI stores arbitrary JavaScript supplied by a user, but IBM does not identify the affected field, request, or rendering function. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and a separate user's interaction with the crafted UI content, and its effects are limited to session-context data disclosure and page alteration.
