CVE-2021-20506Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via Web UI script injection

Published Mar 30, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Cross-site scripting in IBM Engineering Workflow Management allows remote authenticated users to inject JavaScript into its Web UI. IBM has not published the affected input, page, or output-encoding failure that causes the Web UI to retain and render attacker-controlled script. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and victim interaction; execution in the trusted session can alter displayed content and expose credentials.
