Credential disclosure via Data Loader script injection
Published Feb 18, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Cross-site scripting in IBM Maximo for Civil Infrastructure 7.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to expose credentials via the Web UI. The shipped Maximo Data Loader lacks an effective X-XSS-Protection header, allowing embedded JavaScript to execute in a trusted browser session. A low-privileged account and user interaction are required; successful exploitation can alter Web UI behavior and disclose session credentials.
