Client-side code execution via missing integrity checks
Published Feb 18, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024
Missing Subresource Integrity checks in IBM Maximo for Civil Infrastructure 7.6.2 allow attackers to run altered third-party scripts. Maximo Data Loader loads executable scripts from third-party services without an SRI hash, preventing the user agent from verifying retrieved content. Exploitation requires low privileges and compromise of a referenced third-party service; resulting code runs in the application user's browser context.
