CVE-2021-20431Network attack vector

Sensitive information exposure via stale session token

Published Jul 26, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

IBM i2 Analyst's Notebook Premium 9.2.0, 9.2.1, and 9.2.2 allows remote attackers to obtain sensitive information via a session that survives logout. The logout handler fails to invalidate the authentication token, so a previously captured token remains accepted for subsequent requests. Exploitation requires user interaction with the login service; impact is limited to confidentiality, with no reported integrity or availability effect.
