Password disclosure via performRequest trace logging
Published Feb 8, 2021 · Updated Sep 17, 2024
Sensitive-data exposure in IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation 20.0.3 and 20.0.2-IF002 allows remote authenticated users to read passwords. When Application Engine logging is set to trace, performRequest writes the AppResource password into the server trace log. Low-privileged network access and permission to retrieve that log expose the credential; no integrity or availability impact is reported.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
