CVE-2021-20358Network attack vector

Sensitive data disclosure via cleartext connection logs

Published Feb 8, 2021 · Updated Sep 16, 2024

Cleartext storage in IBM Cloud Pak for Automation 20.0.2 IF002 and 20.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive API connection data. The Business Automation Insights component writes API connection information to its log files without protecting the stored values. Access requires permission to read those logs, and exposure is limited to the sensitive connection data they contain.
