Information disclosure in MongoDB Rust Driver 1.0.0 through 1.2.1, 2.0.0-alpha, and 2.0.0-alpha1 allows local users to obtain credentials. ConnectionPoolOptions is shared between pool internals and event monitoring, causing the pool-created event to expose authentication data that application logging can persist. Exposure requires an application-configured connection-pool event listener; monitoring is disabled by default, and the bounded impact is credential disclosure.
