Enrollment disclosure via missing per-course authorization
Published Mar 15, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Incorrect authorization in Moodle LMS before 3.10.2, 3.9.5, 3.8.8, and 3.5.17 allows remote authenticated users to read course enrollment data. The core_enrol_get_users_courses web service returned another user's courses without checking profile-view permission in each course. Forced separate-group mode makes otherwise hidden enrollment relationships visible, without reported data modification or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
