Cleartext transmission in the NETGEAR Nighthawk R6700v3 1.0.4.120 web interface allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read admin credentials. The default web service sends login requests and responses, including usernames and passwords, over HTTP instead of encrypting them with TLS. Exploitation requires a position capable of observing management traffic; the reported consequence is credential disclosure without data modification or service interruption.
