IAM role token disclosure via local capture

Information disclosure in Tenable Nessus Agent 7.2.0 through 8.2.2 allows local users to obtain an IAM role security token. During initial linking on an Amazon EC2 instance, the agent captures the instance's IAM role security token and leaves it on the local host. Privileged local access is required to retrieve the token, exposing credentials associated with the instance role.
