CVE-2021-20074Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated OS command execution via CLI argument

Published Feb 16, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

OS command injection in RACOM M!DGE Firmware 4.4.40.105 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands over SSH. The cli-interactive restricted shell accepts a client-supplied SSH command and invokes /bin/ash through its -c option instead of confining the session to the provided CLI. Membership in a user group with CLI access is required, after which a low-level account gains an operating-system shell and a path to privilege escalation.
