Service interruption via rejected WLAN association
Published Jul 13, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reachable assertion in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service by causing an association rejection. The WLAN SAP connection-handling path improperly processes a connection after its association is rejected and reaches an assertion that terminates service. No authentication or user interaction is required; exposure is limited to devices using an affected Snapdragon platform with the vulnerable WLAN firmware.
