Unauthenticated WLAN assertion denial of service
Published Jun 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Reachable assertion in Qualcomm Snapdragon WLAN components allows remote attackers to interrupt service through a crafted peer-association packet. The WLAN host processing path accepts a nonstandard incoming peer association message that reaches an internal assertion instead of safely rejecting the packet. Exploitation requires no authentication or user interaction, and the documented consequence is network-triggered availability loss without confidentiality or integrity impact.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
