Remote service interrupt via unchecked modem input
Published Oct 20, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
Null pointer dereference in Qualcomm Snapdragon modem firmware allows remote attackers to interrupt service via crafted input. The modem's Data Network Stack & Connectivity path dereferences user-provided input without first checking whether it is null. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the published impact is limited to loss of availability.
