Trusted application crash via unchecked key-import pointer
Published Sep 9, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024
NULL pointer dereference in Qualcomm Snapdragon trusted applications allows local users to crash key-import processing with a crafted pointer. The key-import path uses a passed pointer without first validating that it is non-null, so malformed input reaches a null dereference. Local code execution on a device with an affected Snapdragon chipset is required; the documented consequence is loss of availability, not data access or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
