CVE-2021-1910Network attack vector

Memory corruption via unchecked video input length

Published May 7, 2021 · Updated Aug 3, 2024

Double free in Qualcomm Snapdragon video components allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through a malformed input buffer. The proprietary video code fails to validate the input buffer length and releases the same allocation twice while processing that buffer. No privileges or user interaction are required over the network; successful exploitation can disclose or modify data and interrupt the video service.
