Buffer over-read in Qualcomm Snapdragon boot firmware allows physically proximate attackers to interrupt device startup via a crafted splash image. The boot image loader fails to validate boundary conditions before reading splash-image data, allowing it to read beyond the intended buffer. Physical access is required to supply the image, and the published impact is limited to availability, with no reported data disclosure or modification.
