Privacy preference bypass via faulty signature validation

Improper code-signature validation in Apple operating systems allows local users to bypass Privacy preferences through a malicious application. Apple has not published which AppleMobileFileIntegrity check incorrectly accepts an application signature. Affected systems are macOS Big Sur before 11.3, iOS and iPadOS before 14.5, tvOS before 14.5, and watchOS before 7.4; successful exploitation lets locally executed application code evade configured privacy controls.
