Remote code execution in Microsoft Windows Fax Service allows remote attackers to execute code through network requests. Microsoft has not published the faulty function, input field, or parsing operation within the service. Exploitation requires Windows Fax and Scan to be enabled and the Fax service to be running; successful exploitation executes attacker-controlled code.
