Published Jan 12, 2021 · Updated Oct 8, 2024
Remote code execution in affected Microsoft SharePoint Server editions allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary code via crafted Office files. Microsoft has not published the affected code locus or the unsafe operation performed when SharePoint processes the file. A low-privileged SharePoint account is required; successful exploitation compromises the server's confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
