Code execution via malicious media file

Remote code execution in Microsoft DTV-DVD Video Decoder on affected Windows releases allows attackers to run code via a malicious media file. Microsoft has not published the faulty decoder routine or the operation it performs incorrectly on untrusted media data. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, after which code runs in that user's security context and can affect data and service availability.
