Root command execution via crafted HTTP requests
Published Aug 4, 2021 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
Command injection in Cisco RV340, RV340W, RV345, and RV345P firmware before 1.0.03.22 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands as root. The web-based management interface improperly validates a crafted HTTP request before processing it as an operating-system command. An attacker needs high-privilege credentials and access to the management interface, which is LAN-accessible by default and WAN-accessible only when remote management is enabled.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
