Stored XSS via insufficient input validation
Published Jul 8, 2021 · Updated Nov 7, 2024
Stored XSS in Cisco Identity Services Engine allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted management-interface pages. The web interface stores malicious code injected into unspecified pages because it does not sufficiently validate user-supplied input. Valid administrative credentials and interaction by another interface user are required; successful exploitation can expose browser-based information or run code in that user’s interface context.
