Credential exposure in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager allows remote authenticated users to obtain administrative credentials through its API. The disaster recovery API fails to restrict access to endpoints that return credentials, allowing an authenticated session to retrieve administrative secrets. The disaster recovery feature must be enabled; the reported consequence is credential disclosure for use in further attacks.
