CVE-2021-1544

Local information disclosure via unsafe action logging

Published Jun 4, 2021 · Updated Nov 7, 2024

Information disclosure in Cisco Webex Meetings client software before 41.4 allows local users to read sensitive meeting data from log files. The client records application actions unsafely, placing meeting details and recorded meeting transcriptions in files accessible after an authenticated user logs on locally. Access requires a local authenticated account, and the reported consequence is disclosure of logged contents without integrity or availability impact.
