Root command execution via NETCONF SCP validation

Command injection in the system CLI of Cisco IOS XE SD-WAN Software allows local users to execute operating-system commands with root privileges. The NETCONF SSH SCP wrapper accepts shell metacharacters through an overly broad regular expression and passes the unquoted original command to eval. Exploitation requires authenticated access through a vManage, vSmart, or vBond device, after which injected commands run as root.
