CVE-2021-1514

Administrator command execution via crafted CLI input

Published May 6, 2021 · Updated Nov 8, 2024

Command injection in Cisco SD-WAN Software allows local users with low privileges to execute operating-system commands as Administrator. Certain CLI commands insufficiently validate crafted input before passing it for operating-system execution, but Cisco has not identified the commands. An authenticated low-privileged CLI account is required, and successful exploitation elevates command execution to Administrator privileges.
