Authenticated service interruption via device-template command injection
Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Command injection in Cisco Catalyst SD-WAN Manager before 20.5.1 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt the service. The web UI improperly validates crafted input submitted to device template configuration, allowing that input to inject commands on the affected system. An authenticated vManage account with access to device template configuration is required, and the reported consequence is denial of service.
