Improper access control in Cisco Firepower Management Center allows remote authenticated users to overwrite security policies. The management service insufficiently enforces authorization when direct requests target internal services, permitting access beyond the user's assigned scope. Valid low-privileged credentials and network reachability to the management interface are required; policy changes can alter managed-device configuration and operation.
