Reflected XSS via improper input validation
Published Apr 8, 2021 · Updated Nov 8, 2024
Reflected XSS in Cisco Unified Contact Center Express 11.6(1) and earlier, 12.0(1), and 12.5(1) allows remote attackers to run browser scripts. The bundled Unified Intelligence Center web interface fails to validate user-supplied input before reflecting it into a page, enabling arbitrary script execution in the interface's browser context. Exploitation requires a user to follow an attacker-crafted link, after which browser-based information can be read or altered in that user's interface session.
